I just switched from an android to an iphone and i dont know a good apple Navigation app thats free. If anyone can help me i would appreciate it

Any of them can be free if you know what you're doing

Appstore --> catagories --> navigation --> top free --> look at stars and read reviews.

Waze is good if you have enough data plan quota -- It gets map tiles on the fly. Also good as everyone automatically reports traffic so you know what roads to avoid.

another vote for Waze

its user based which is nice, saved me from a speeding ticket last week

Having been using motion gps for a while. this one looks like it combines that, some features from inrix, etc..

going to check it out.

I think downgrads should be tied to the user and displayed to see who is downgrading stupidly. Why would anyone feel the need to downgrade this post?

This! I drive about 125 miles per day for my job and I heavily rely on Waze + another "paid" iPhone Nav app.

As stated above, if you have unlimited data, then Waze is the way to go IMO.
