I've noticed quite a few good deals lately on OSX games from the App Store, Steam and Amazon.

Some examples I bought in the past couple of days:

-Dragon Age Origins Ultimate Edition (off Amazon downloads) - $4.99 (unlike some on there that claim the activation code wouldn't work, mine worked fine here. Yeah it's a transgaming port, but I don't want to boot into Windows). I thought this was one of the best games I ever played a few years ago in Windows and the Ultimate edition has a lot of content I never played like Awakenings and some other expansions so I plan to play it again.

-Dragon Age II (Amazon Downloads) - $4.99 - I never got around to trying this one as it got some poor reviews, but at $5, I can't pass it up.

-Lego Lord of the Rings (App Store; $15, was $30+ just a week or so ago). This one looks pretty cool. I had already bought Lego Star Wars Complete for $20 and it's pretty neat.

-Borderlands 2 ($10.19 and the Steam version plays against PCs and has controller support, etc.; the Game of the Year version is $30 right now; I wouldn't recommend the App Store version for the crappy connectivity Game Center has by comparison). This game seems to have some rave reviews so I'm looking forward to trying it out.

-Bioshock Infinite ($20 Steam; also $20 at App store, but you get the Windows version on Steam as well). This game sounds like it's one of the best games of the past year and as near as I can tell, it should run OK on an Intel 4000HD at medium settings, at least.

-Rayman Origins ($10 Steam) - Freaky cool platformer at half the price of the App Store and once again you have the Windows version as well if you need it.

-The Cave (by Ron Gilbert of Monkey Island fame) has come way down in price ($7.49 on Steam and $2.99 on the App Store at the moment). I'd still get the Steam version since the App Store version STILL doesn't support game controllers whereas my PS3 bluetooth controller works great on the Steam version (Yeah I have both versions here and found out the hard way the App Store version sucks for that reason plus again, you get the Windows version as well).

For those of you that think the new enhanced Baldur's Gate and Baldur's Gate II are too much, they recently dropped $5 each on the App Store (still higher than I want to play for such old games I already own for Windows, but getting more reasonable. I'd like to see them for $10 and $15 before I'd buy them for sure. Given Dragon Age is going for $5 and is BAR NONE the BEST RPG I've ever played, I can't justify $35 for both of these to myself, especially when I already own the Windows versions and probably only paid $20-25 for them a decade ago).

I'm sure there's plenty of other deals going on as well, but these seemed pretty nice to me. This seems to be the best time of year to snap huge discounts on games, especially at Steam.
