Good harddrive for my nas

Happy new year everyone

For christmas i treated myself to a synology nas and im wondering whats a good 1Tb drive to fit it with.

I currently have a WD Green 1Tb in an external drive and thats just caused nothing but problems - corruption etc.

The drive will be home to all my playback media. All heavy processing stuff will be stored on my macs actual harddrive so performance isnt a biggie - just good enough to play stuff and be reliabe.

I may end up networking a windows machine (which may end up being a linux) just in case that changes anything.

Can anyone recommend a good solid drive?
