Although I like the 24 inch ACD, it's out of my price range.

I'm looking for a monitor between 22-26 inches, but preferably in the 23-24 range.

I looked at Best Buy today and all their LCD's were so-so. I've had trouble picking out a suitable glossy monitor online because there are so many choices and it's impossible to tell if they will work fine with a Mac. LG has a nice glossy display which looks nice, but I'm not sure how it will work with a Mac, and the display seems kind of...crappy.

The things I want in a monitor

-Glossy panel
-Great/Easy/Proven Mac compatibility
-22-26 inches
-Very bright screen (at least as bright or brighter than the MBP uB if possible)
-under $400
-Not a Dell (dislike their customer service, and it seems all their LCD's are matte anyways)

Basically I'm looking for something very similar to the Apple 24 inch glass display. I like the Samsungs also, but they don't seem to come in glossy displays?

There is the link to the LG monitor I have been looking at. I saw the matte one on display today and the quality looked very good. The brightness could have been turned up but I did not play with the settings.

The Apple display is rated at 330 cd and the LG is rated at 300. A 30 amount difference should not matter that much.

The LG looks pretty nice.
