I don't mean like pandora where you put in an artists or genres name and it kinda generates a radio station. I mean actual internet radio stations.
Stuff where I can find stations from around the world, dance, clubs etc
Aol radio had my favorite LA station (106.7 KROQ). I've moved to AZ for grad school and really miss the Kevin and Bean show. They have a podcast, but I'd like to hear it live too. Tucson morning shows suck.
SHOUTcast Radio is nice. Contains the same stuff as Winamp. But there are many apps out there that directly link into the SHOUTcast library.
And it's free. You might also want to check out Streamtheworld they are a company that offers Internet radio streaming for local radio stations mostly in US and Canada, and ton of them have an app for iPhone made by Streamtheworld.
I used to love WunderRadio, but I've had great luck lately with TuneIn Radio. Not quite as many stations as WunderRadio, but those it has seem to work much more consistently. Plus it's far cheaper than WunderRadio.
For podcasts and stuff like NPR Stitcher app is good.
But still no support for multi tasking.
I will try some of these.
Stitcher is nice since you can set up your favorites and just start playing them in any order. You can forward as you like from program to program.
