Good iPhone protection without altering its design?

Hi everyone, after trying 5 different bumpers and cases for my 4s, i decided that i don`t want to ruin its really nice design with those bad-quality-plastic things from DX. Could anybody recommend any solution to protect my 4s from scratches and keeping its great design intact??
