Hmm....see the forums have been redone since my last visit...not sure what the best forum is for this...

Anyway...I'm trying my darnedest to find some good EQ settings for these Bose Companion 2 speakers. I hate the iMac speakers, which is why I bought these. (My wife has a pair that she uses for her Sirius XM receiver and they sound fantastic on that thing.)

Problem is especially with the bass. Seems that I can't get a good, consistent bass emphasis. Either I get rumbling, or I get no bass; nothing in between. Sometimes I won't hear any bass, but then all of a sudden in the middle of a song there might be a sweet spot in a certain key (usually A) in which suddenly the speakers just plain rumble.

Some time ago I did some Googling and DuckDuckGoing and found these recommended settings for the exact same speakers, but it's still not right. I need something with good bass and with the treble up too. Something that sounds good. Any suggestions??
