Hi there,

I wonder if anyone could recommend a good Mac App for system-wide Macros. What I basically want to do is be able to use keyboard shortcuts to insert text such as "I trust my application is of interest and hope to hear from you soon" - I need to be able to drop the various bits of text into anywhere - Words, Pages, Mail and Chrome. Any suggestions?

Many Thanks

Can't you use Automator to create a Service and just click on that Service within any application? I assume AppleScript will also do this for you.

I have been using TextExpanding for a few years. Excellent and does everything I want and more.

If it's proper macros you want, rather than just text substitution, then Keyboard Maestro is my favorite.
