I'm locking for a good iPhone4 compatible charger that fits in the pocket while charging without having it to stick out. Found one at the Apple store but it only has 1000mAh and the vertical shape makes it too long.

How are you guys forgetting this? I just ordered one last night. http://www.hypershop.com/HyperMac-Nano-1800mAh-Battery-for-Apple-iPhone-iPod-iPad-s/167.htm

1800mAh, too.

I'm not a fan of radioshack, but when I was looking around for something for a trip to Europe I found this.

It's 1800mah, but the nice thing about it is that it has dual usb, so if you're a 2 iphone household or want a bluetooth headset charged at the same time it works. I used it all the time in europe, i had the iphone in the front pocket and the small battery pack in my back pocket.

I've thought about getting a larger one such as the HyperMac mini, but it only has a single usb charger, which is fine but the dual is a nice feature.

The cheapest solution is the monoprice pack:

I have one and my first one didn't work that well, but they sent me a replacement and it works great. Also 1800 mah and connects directly to the port connector. Works fine on my iphone, but you need to not have a thick case, it doesn't work with my wife's otterbox, but then again, not much does.

That's a pretty impressive price. I use the Apple bumper. Guess that should work?

Wow...that's REALLY slick. Do you have an iP4 and if so, will you be using a bumper? I'm really curious to know if this one is bumper-compatible. I'll order one if so!

My iPhone 4 will arrive sometime next week and I will not be using a bumper. Just a wrapsol. I'd imagine it'll fit the bumper because the plug looks fairly small. I'll post pics of the Hypermac battery. I just got the email saying it shipped.

I'm surprised that that those work with the bumpers and someone else mentioned that the monoprice don't. They look very similar, and the monoprice is 1/3 the cost for the same capacity. I have the incipio case and the monoprice one works great.

maybe because the bottom has a bigger opening than the Apple bumper?

check out luckypacks, they have 2 capacities and both are pretty darn small, even the large isnt that large.

I got the 1800 which is extremely light with this cable that works perfect with the apple iphone4 bumper (the included cable won't). By far the best combo you can get for this price and it charges every device that uses usb so its not limited to iphones.

I have a power monkey from power traveller.

Has lots of different widgets, one of which is USB so you can put the monkey in your pocket whilst you use the standard apple cable and so it works with a bumper!

I use the Trent IMP500. It has a standard usb for power so you can use your own cables.

It also comes with a retractable cable with replaceable fittings for what ever you are trying to charge.
