Hi,

I'm wondering if anyone has a good recommendation for a 22"-24" widescreen monitor. Ideally, it should have VGA, a couple of USB ports, a fairly high resolution, and no more than $350-$400.

Thanks!

Dell 2405/2407 would be my recommendation. Think I've seen used 2405s (FPW? WFP?) for $400-$500. That's what I have an I love it. 24", 1920x1200, vga in, dvi in (though personally I'd rather there be two DVI ins), component and composite in as well I think. 4 usb ports (2 on the side, two underneath), and also Compact Flash/SD/MMC card reader on the side. Can't really beat it for the price IMO.

You might want to take a look at the HP L2275w. I've not seen it, but it, and it's larger 24" sibling have reviewed well.

Street prices are a little lower than MSRP, but not by much, last I looked.

I LOVE my new Dell SP2309W. The resolution of 2048x1152 is pretty ridiculously great! I love the screen real estate I get from it. I used to have a 24" monitor with a 1920x1200 res, but I much prefer this.

What Apple computer and graphics card are you using with the Dell SP2309W monitor , and what are you using the computer for?
