Good MSN messenger client?

I've tried MSN's own Mac client, Trillian, Adium, and Palringo, all connect but none show any of my contacts. Any good suggestions out there, or has MSN messenger service just been out to lunch for quite a while?

Palringo has recently updated the mac client and there is a new alpha which you can find here http://www.palringo.com/en/gb/download they have improved MSN stability on this platform and it's a good bridge client.
