Good news for Futurama Fans!

Although I never cared too much for the show, I know it's a cult hit and many members on this forum would be pleased to hear that 13 new episodes are on there way.

This is great news and lately it has been a trend for the t.v companies to launch American shows earlier here in Australia. Hopefully it will

This may not be from the horses mouth, but it certainly originates from the stable, Billy West confirmed on his own site that this was the case.

I was waiting for someone else to announce the show's return to television
so I wouldn't get clobbered if I had any information that was inaccurate!

This is excellent news.

Though I'm not sure I'll manage to hold out until they appear on Norwegian TV2, which used to send Futurama, or DVDs (not even sure which will be first), so I might follow robbieduncan's example (at least until DVDs are available), and if anybody has problem with that they can bite my shiny... well, you get it, right...?

Probably because it was a 1-word post. ("Awesome!", if I recall correctly...) 1-word posts, posts with only "LOL" or emoticons in them usually get removed by the Mods. I believe the feeling is that posts of that nature do not contribute in any way to the discussion and as such should be removed.

Finally, i've been holding out for those rumored dvds for ever since the rumors started, and 13 episodes sounds even better. I just wish I didn't have to wait until 2008.
