Hi. I'm looking to get an accounting software app that isn't cloud-based. I'm basically running it to perform two functions:
-Track my freelance/published work for tax purposes.
-Do accounting as a small publisher, tasked with distributing sales revenue to authors, editors, and a parent company, along with monitoring taxes and commissions.
Any suggestions? I'd go with QuickBooks, but the $200 price tag for the non-cloud version is a bit much for me. I guess $100 would be an acceptable limit. Did a search, but most of the responses were a few years old, and I'm not sure if they apply anymore.
