Good OCR for OSX 1.5?

I've set up a Mac and need to do some OCR from within Word.
I used Textbridge on my PC and it was decent but nothing great at preserving formats of pages.
Can anyone please suggest a good OCR software for an Intel Mac running 1.5.2 that will work from within Word?

I'm using Finereader Engine 8.0 for Mac. Compared to the rest, this one is sublime!
