Good old Games 2.0 consistently wants to install a helper application.

It feels as if it's needy. I only have two games installed, but it seems like every day, it asks for an administrator password. And, unfortunately the "sudo" prompts give very little context.

Perhaps it is not installed correctly.

Do you know that you can install games without Galaxy too? Might be a better option if you just have two games and do not need some of the additional features that Galaxy has.

The only time I see the prompt for authorization for the helper is when an update is being installed.

Was there a security authorization on the initial installation, as with other launchers?
