I'm a sophomore and it's Senior Week for seniors right now, which got me thinking about what I will do when I'm a senior. A lot of them are going to Ocean City, MD, but I go there on sponatenous weekend trips anyway, so I want to do something different. Where are some fun places to go within driving distance of the Baltimore metro area? Gettysburg?

The week after graduation where the senior partay! in other places, like the beach.

I'm thinking a two-part trip-- Atlantic City, NJ and New York City.

Unless you're graduating from college, Atlantic City may not be the best choice. However, if you are, those sound like two terrific choices!

My college runs a senior week with constant open bars and lots of cool stuff on campus the week before grad....as for high school it was just a week of road tripping around new england to various house parties. :p

Yeah, it would be for high school graduation. I suppose Atlantic City wouldn't have much to offer us, but maybe we could spend a night there or something, just for fun and to get something to eat. I think that would be best.

I went to Ocean City MD last year even though I was a junior. It was so much fun riding the bus and meeting tons of new people. Spending time partying with your friends is the best. I decided this year not to go and just go somewhere out west this winter for snowboarding trip :)

I've never heard of a senior week and I'm a senior in college. Sounds like it must be an east coast thing...

Anywho, New York sounds like an awesome idea.

None other than the Redneck Riviera...Myrtle Beach.

Spent my "beach week" (which was actually two weeks) down there a few years back after graduation. House for 10 people was only like 250 for each person, right on the channels in North Myrtle Beach. I think I got out all said and done for under 700 after more than a few rounds of golf and a few runs to the liquor store. Plenty of people down there doing the same thing too. And, speaking from experience, the cops in Myrtle are much better and more lenient than those in OC.

when I was in school back in the day me and my group of friends did something different each, one day it was a pool party at my house with cookout , trip to beach, kings island, golf outing we did it all.. fun times
