i was at Circuit city today and the prices on Kingston ram were ridiculous, something like 199 for 4gigs i believe. i'm just not familiar with Cruicial brand, but it say that it's compatible with mbp and such. certainly the cheapest i've found thus far.

I don't know how great a brand A-Data is. I stick to OCW, Crucial, G. Skill, Kingston, GeIL,... These are merely brands I've read about and know about from PC building.

I've recently had a problem with Crucial memory. After installing it, my computer wouldn't boot up. It seems that some other people have had the same problem lately. I have purchased memory there before in the past without problems, so I'm not sure what happened. I would recommend OWC.

Crucial has a lifetime warranty. Call them up and get it replaced ;)

I would say no more then $125.00. MacSales has them for around $95.00 I believe.
