Good Price for a 23" ACD?

Was wondering if $575 is a good price for a new 23" ACD? The store also has a 20" ACD for $599 and I'm not sure why the price is higher for the smaller panel. Both of these have the matte screens which I prefer. Do both these displays have the same spec except for the size? I was going to use this with a Mac Mini and was wondering if they are compatible with both the old version and new Mini's. Do I need any special connectors to use it for these?

Also, are the ACD's only covered by extended Apple Care warranty if I purchase a computer at the same time or can I purchase Apple Care separately?

That is a great price for the 23"! Get it quick before they run out. Apple has been clearing 23" stock worldwide I believe, here in Hong Kong, the 23" was on sale in many places whereas the 20" and 30" weren't.

If the buy a computer with applecare along with the screen at the same time, the screen will be covered as well. But you can purchase applecare for the display separately. I have a 30" ACD coming in a day or two, can't wait!
 
I ordered the display and a Mini and will pick up tomorrow. Do I need to buy Apple Care at the same time as the computer and display purchase (for the display to be covered) or can I pick it up later on ebay?

You're supposed to have them be on the same receipt. It seems that it doesn't really matter though, but it could be a gamble.
 
FYI. I checked with Apple and they said, you need to have the computer and display on the same receipt. The applecare can be added within the first year and will cover both computer and display.

What store is selling the ACD for $575??? That is a smoking deal.
 
It was a local store and they only had one unit. I guess that is why they priced it lower than the 20" just to clear inventory.
 
I got my 23" for 150$. Well a little less to be exact. Got a MP 2.8x4 (quad) and 23" 'ACD for 2000. Then I happened upon the end of life MP deal for 1899 for the 2.8x8 octo. Put the computer up on craiglist for 2000, sold for 1850.

So for 150 I got a 23" ACD, the 2nd DVD drive and the wireless card from the old MP for my new MP.

Good deal.
