Hi I am selling my mid 2009 17 inch macbook pro 2.8 core 2 4 gb ram 500 gb hd with anti glare screen in mint condition has no applecare. I have an offer for 1100 canadian and I was wondering if you guys think that is a fair price?

In the US, I'd expect to see yours go for anywhere from $800 to $1100, depending on if you have the box and restore discs, Applecare, etc.

Take a look at completed eBay listings.

Offhand, that sounds like it is at least in the ballpark. And if the person is serious, and has cash in hand, my advice would be to accept it and be done.

If it is money in hand, it doesn't sound like a horrible deal. You may be able to get more if you wait for the right buyer. Check ebay for the current selling prices.
