Good quick scanner for black and white docs

Hello all,

I am looking for a scanner to use to scan my docs to tidy up my home office.
It will be used mainly for black and white docs as well as some color docs but no photos.

The main consideration for me is the speed at which it scans.

I run snow leapard so one that works happily with that would be helpful
