I am looking to buy a replacement battery for my 17inch Macbook Pro. It has become a victim of the swollen battery and I have had no luck with getting a swap, since the program closed. Anyone know of a good site?

Also on a side note, I noticed since I removed my battery HD videos on youtube and my HDD. Kinda lag now. I just put the battery back in briefly and the programs gone away. What is that about?

The computer is designed to severely underclock the CPU when the battery is removed. IIRC, it disables one core of the processor, or drops the speed to 1GHz or something.

Apple.com or eBay for the battery.

The two Apple batteries I purchased were new and worked well. The do take forever to ship. Mine came US Mail straight from China.

Cheers,

Thanks for the responses, I was looking through the ebay store but didn't locate any batter for the 17 inch models unfortunately.

Just email him with the battery number (like A1154 or whatever) and he may be able to get it for you.
