So what do you plan to get rid of before the New Year? Is it bank Statements? Or pieces of paper with the words "recession"?

Heh, just today all our oldish bank statements were destroyed. I do plan to get rid of my figure over the next couple of weeks.

I plan on losing the habit I have recently acquired whereby after a hard nights drinking, I come home and sleep on the floor or the sofa, never the bed.

I am aware that it is the drinking that I need to reign in, but I just want to get NYE out of he way, and let my best pal go back into his para regiment, and I will stop in the new year.

I think for me - getting my but into gear and start going through some of the un open boxes that i have from when i moved house.

Also try and eat more healthier and drink less beer. And try and encourage my brother to move out and get his own place. The freeloading is finished as far as i am concerned.

You still haven't thrown him out?
Snap to it… no season better than the present to do it as well.

Or are you going to be on here moaning about this "master-slave-relationship" another 6 months down the line?
Of course you may well enjoy being treated like dirt… in which case… ignore my comments. ;)

:D

No i haven't chucked him out yet But yes no season better lol. No i don't intend to be on here moaning and carrying on. He will be told next year. Either help out or moving out OR if you want to treat the place like a hotel then you will be paying me more money.

No i don't like being treated like dirt but it's a little different with family.

Not trying to butt in, however you may be better not giving him the option to help out, as you might see some money flow at first and it quickly dry up over the coming weeks. I mean if he felt no compelling reason to help out with the bills/rent/mortgage now, he may still have the compulsion.

You're right family is different, and you have to tread lightly ;)
