Good screen recorder suggestions

Hi all, I need suggestions for a good screen recorder. I'm already using Screenium,(By Synium) It's pretty good, but there is one problem. If I try to record an online game, the game will lag. i.e If I wanna record me playing Halo with Screenium and I'm online, the game lags up so badly, that I can't play. I know on PC's they have fraps... But it won't work for mac.

i'm pretty sure Quicktime X does this these days, not sure about if it lags playing games though
