good sites that sells factory unlocked iphone 4 ??

If you live close to the Canadian border, you could just make a day trip up here. Apple Stores in Canada will only sell unlocked iPhones.
Question is can you use an unlocked iPhone 4 from Canada in the USA?
Seems to be that there might be some sort of issue with this, and I do not mean breaking the law, just that the phone might not work right.

Phone is the same, the lock is a software locked, the phone will work here, and anywhere in the world where GMS standard freq are use.
I don't think you can "buy" direct an unlock iPhone (yet) and ship it to another country, that violates some of the contracts.
You can however get "someone" to buy for you from places like canada or vodaphone in italy and them ship it to you.
but if you are going to do that...ebay is a way better option, I know you said you want to avoid those type of site, but I think those are your better (and secure) options.
This link shows the carriers that support the iPhone and lists the ones that sell unlocked. However, I'm not sure that it has been updated for the iPhone 4 yet. Since it is just starting to be released to more countries at the end of the month, you may want to wait and check them out for unlocked phones. Most, if not all of the authorized carriers will not ship outside of their own country. This will more than likely require you to make a trip to one of the countries that sell unlocked phones, or contact someone you know in one of those countries.

i already know about this and the sellers are from us.
but it's hard to find a seller from uk or europe that selles factory unlocked.
also many robbers are there.
Be VERY careful when buying an unlocked phone. I was browsing eBay, and most of the jokers there were saying their stuff was unlocked, but when in actuality, they had "unlock-capable", which meant the phone was locked.
Ideally, you want to find a friend in Canada, the UK, or another country with unlocked phones that you can trust to buy the phone and ship it to you, making sure it is a completely unlocked device and not sold with any cellular provider.

What's the cost of an Unlocked iphone if I were to drive to Canada and buy one, or have a friend in the UK buy one for me?
