Hey guys,

The school I go to has gotten 8 iPad 2's for the special education department and the IT department asked me if I knew of any good apps. I don't have an iPad so I'm not really sure of what's out there.

Can anyone recommend any good special education apps to me? The iPads are for special education students in high school so anything elementary such as learning how to write is not needed.

Thanks!

special ed apps

Hi-

There are many apps available for the iPad.
I have (have used with kids) Dragon dictation,Tap ToTalk, Merriam Webster Dictionary, eCOVE...Plus, Social HD... These are all free
There are many more.
Go to the App Store and then to the section under Special Education to find apps which can be used by students (and teachers) with different needs.
