Hi everyone,

I just want to find out what text editing software that people use mostly on a OS X.

I am looking for a good one, I be mostly programming Cisco routers and switches, and I know one of my workmate use textmate.

Beside Mac built in screen any other software for USB-Serial that people can recommend.

Thanks Yokomo.

textmate and bbedit are the two most popular ones. There's also the free version that has less features of bbedit, called text wrangler.

I use ultraedit on the pc and the folks who make that will have an osx version of it soon (hopefully in a month or two).

BBedit and TextMate are the two big ones.
A free but still feature-heavy version of BBedit called TextWrangler is also worth a look if you don't feel like ponying up.
