Good thing my wife doesnt need to use her new iphone tonight

Today we got my iphone a sister iphone (one for my wife that is).
We have been trying to activate the phone all day with the same message coming up

account creation service is not available at this time; please try again later.
She was really looking forward to activating and using her phone. Anyone hear about what is going on and when the service might be up??

There is a bug between Apple and ATT. I had the same issue. I canceled the activation and re-logged in to iTunes then it worked. Good luck!

Damn, that really sucks, i hope that you and your wife get that worked out. I know if that happened to me i would break down into tears =[

My cousin just bought her iPhone today and had the same issue. We called AT&T, and they said that iTunes activation will be down until 4AM on Monday morning!!!

Stinks!
