Hello, I have a 2015 macbook pro 13" which I bought in 2015. It runs great but I was wondering if I could find a good deal on a 2018 13" or 15" whether it is good version to upgrade?

Now that the 2018's have been out for a few months, I am curious if it is worth it.

Thanks!

I have a 2015 13” too.

I like the look of the new quad core 13”. In reality though, I don’t push my machine that hard anyway, and it still runs great. When I am hammering the processor (HDR or audio conversion) it’s only ever for personal use. Time doesn’t really equal money there as it might if I was working to a deadline.

And because I use a NAS, the wifi is the bottleneck I face most often. There is no change there on the quad core 13”, and the dual core 13” has slower wifi than the 2015. So quad core would be great, but I’m going to hang onto mine for now until I get quad core and faster wifi. I really like the new 2018s, but the niggling occasional issues and the fact thst mine does what I need right now, that’s a lot of money and a lot of boat rocking.
