good trade? mp 2009 4,1 for thunderbolt display?

Someone on craigslist wants my 4,1 mac pro 12 gb 750gb samsung evo and 2tb hd in exchange for thunderbolt display.
Is this worth it? I was trying to sell my mp for cash...but this guy says that thunderbolt display have better resell. Is this worthy trade? If i get this thunderbolt display..would i be able to sell it faster on CL?

I guess a merge is almost as good as a delete.

You haven't really said much about the Thunderbolt Display. Unless you want to keep it and use it I'd say forget it. If it was so easy to sell and would get more money then why wouldn't he sell it, give you the cash you're asking for and then pocket the rest?

He's either lazy and doesn't need the money or it's stolen. Not worth getting stuck with something you're not asking for.

Thank you for response. 1) lol i made a topic in mac pro section, that's why i wanted this deleted.
2) I didn't have anything to use it with in regards tb display...he wanted to trade it with me to so i can that instead..but something was off.
3)I don't think many would buy the display.
