Hi,

Have a mac mini and my little cheapy powered hub i brought over from the pc seems to be having issues i.e i tried to plug an external hard drive into it and it constantly disconnected (same thing happens with a sd card reader).

This worked fine on my XP machine but it appears my mac doesnt like it.

can anyone recommend a good hub ? i was thinking of the belkin one but reviews on the apple site seem to suggest it lacks power which i would need if i want to plug a hard drive or two as well as a printer into it.

Thanks

I've had this for my MBP for over 8 months now. It powers my miglia tvmicro usb tv tuner flawlessly. I've only lost the connection maybe 3 times, so its pretty reliable IMO.

How heavy is that belkin hub, Thi? I was thinking about buying that hub today, but I don't want it to be light and fall of my desk if it's plugged into a few devices. I want a nice, heavy hub.

I was going to buy the weighted Kensington USB hub, but the ports are in the front, not the back!
