Found this beauty at Good Will, but she squeels at different pitches when brightness is adjusted.

Don't be offended at the Windows 10 screen, it's just the laptop that was most handy at the moment.

Since this has ADB pasthrough, I would like to use it with my Power Macintosh 9500.

On a side note, does anyone know how (and care) to fix old Apple CRTs?

I have an Apple Color Plus 14" that needs a new home. I am pretty sure that it will just be junked if I bring it to Good Will as I haven't seen them display any CRTs for quite a while now.

Most likely the Backlight Inverter board. A whistling transformer. Sometimes desoldering a coil or transformer and re-soldering it MIGHT silence it.

Parts listings are difficult since these were "whole unit exchange" back in the day.
