Google 45W Charger for iPhone 17 Pro Max?

So a discussion I won’t get into but a couple weeks ago I was going to move over to a google pixel I never went through with, but I did purchase the google 45W usb C charger for it

I have still got it - and was wondering if it would offer the fast charging speeds that iPhone 17 pro would support as that’s the phone I am getting shortly

I’ve seen there’s an Apple dynamic 30w-60w available but seeing as I actually have this google charger here i was wondering if that would work?

It should work if the charger conforms to the USB-IF Power Delivery 3.0 standard. But getting faster charging, you'll need to get Apple's new 40 watt Dynamic Power Adapter charger, which will likely be available in versions using the European Type C plug or the UK Type G plug.

It will work normally.

Besides Apple 40W Dynamic Charger which uses PD 3.2 with AVS Google also has one of these. But only the 67w supports it. I don`t even know if AVS works then with that.

But you can just use it with regular Fast Charging Capabilities.

The 67w charger does play nicely with the 17 Pro Max. We can't get Apples dynamic charger here in the UK so I had to look at an alternative.

As we don’t have Apple’s Dynamic charger available in the UK, I bought the Pixel Flex 67W which also supports AVS and PD 3.2

I saw a peak charging output of 37W at 10% SoC, dropping to 24W at 40%. This is a 27% increase on the 16 Pro Max

If anyone’s interested, when the peak charging rate was achieved, I saw 46m to 80%

Note: the peak wattage I received on my 16 Pro Max previously was 29W.

I’ll be comparing this with a ‘regular’ 96W Apple charger over the weekend…
