google apps email

I am trying to add a google apps email to my Apple Mail Client , without success. Can anyone tell me how its done because Apple ask me for m,y server address for IMap but not the port numbers.

I signed mine in as a Google account, worked like a charm. Ironically, it shows as a "Gmail" account while my Gmail account shows as a "Google" account in my list of internet accounts in system preferences.
