MacRumors: Forums
Search giant Google, Inc. tipped its hand this week to Google Base, it's much-rumored auction service that many people believe is meant to compete against auction sites like eBay or CraigsList.
Google is going to launch a new service: Google-base

Despite eBay being flawed, is Base going to be good enough to displace eBay from the minds of the general public?

eBay has a longer history with the public, I am sure that will change as Gmail did with Hotmail. ;) :)

Time and patience. :D

Will Google stop at nothing to IT domination. :p ;)

Fingers crossed this takes off! I'm sick to death of the way Ebay & Paypal combo leech cash. I mean I'll sell something and end up with a poor price after they've done with me. I for one would like to see Ebay crushed! Sorry but they've just made too much off me. Let them go bully the skype members with a price increase or something!

Google will take over the internet, then charge everyone a $10 to use it, making them one of the richest companies in the world (once again).
