I've been using now since yesterday on my Note 4. Beautiful!
Enjoy:

Downloaded, then uninstalled. The month view is awful. I've been using Business calendar and even though it's a bit dated visually it provides all the information I want and need. Keep trying google

I love it. I think it's great. To each his own.

Same one I use. When I click a day, I want to see a list of events...not a terrible blown up hour by hour view that I scroll through.

I've been using it for the last couple of days and I do like it. Yes it's a little choppy but I would expect Google to fix that - Gmail 5 and Inbox all work smoothly so no reason why they can't sort it out on the calendar.

The piece I really like is the connection to gmail events - this makes life so much easier and really takes a calendar to the next level. Also love the natural language for adding events - Saves so much time.

Add in a slick UI and I'm all set for now! I do like what Google is doing. They have really stepped up their game in terms of the app quality. Like night and day compared to stock Kitkat apps.

Month view is atrocious, on my high res Note 4 screen all I see are colored lines. On Samsung calendar in month view I can read all my daily appointments. Google calendar reminds me of how Apple ruined their calendar app by also taking away the ability to see individual appointments in month view.

Plus we get a continuation of the utterly abominable white on off white theme, ugh.
