google calendar sync with iPad and iPhone

I just purchased the iPad. When entering a meeting in my gmail calendar it syncs fine as always with my iPhone. But with the iPad it saves it in a different time (5 hours back). All the devices are saved in the same timezone and are same time format.
If anyone can help or has an idea why - Thank you

Are you sure they are set at the same time zone and not just at the same time? You can also try to go to m.google.com/sync using your iPad and then set the iPad sync off and on again.

Try Settings --> General--> Country --> to see it you have a timezone issue in your google account.
