I've tried configuring my iPhone 4S (iOS 5.0.1) calender to use my Google calender and it works fine. However it appears changes I make on my phone are not synced to my google calender account.
I've tried the Google Sync option and CalDAV but same result, changes are not saved to my google account.
Hints?

EDIT: Oh, removing iCloud sync fixed this issue. :)

The exchange set up works great. Try the CalenGoo app... it's the best option for fully using Google calendar on your phone... it supports multiple calendars and is an essential tool for me... well worth the price.

There are of course three ways of getting your Google Calendars onto iPhone?
For best functionality it's using google through exchange.

how do handle your contacts?

i am a PC user with Outlook. plan to sync Outlook & Google Calendar, then set up Gmail as an exchange account so i have it all push and update together.

i am a bit confused on the best route for Outlook contacts if i want those updates to push to the phone.

iCloud isnt an option since it dislikes Outlook so much. :) thanks.
