My Mac colour scheme is set to Graphite in the Appearance settings.

However, when I browse MacRumors using Google Chrome the scrollbar changes to Aqua Blue.

This only happens on MacRumors and doesn't for example happen on Neowin.

I'm using Chrome version 5.0.396.0 dev.

What could be causing it?

Chrome has a lot of weird bugs, one of the sites i shop at Overclockers.co.uk stops working completely in Chrome unless you refresh it, it is quite random too.

As the beta updates continue the bugs I have been experiencing have decreased. I guess we have to hope that the majority of bugs are sorted prior to the final release.

I just tested this. If you change to Graphite any existing tabs will not update. You need to create a new one. If you change back to Blue the existing tabs will auto-update, so most likely a Chrome bug. Safari worked as expected.

I'm using the latest chrome on OS X: 5.0.375.55

And the macrumors.com homepage shows up without any formating, as if there were no CSS file. All other pages show up fine. Reloading does not help. All other browsers render correctly. Strange. I thought this was supposed to be out of beta now?

Re-read your original post. You mentioned nothing of Google Chrome being the issue.

From my original post: "I'm using the latest chrome on OS X: 5.0.375.55 ... All other browsers render correctly."

Also note thread title: "Google Chrome and MacRumors strange problem?"

I think this would strongly suggest a Google Chrome issue.

Guess you have troubles reading the ENTIRE post?
