I was wondering if Google Chrome for Mac installed any background processes that always ran? I know that there was some controversy regarding Google Earth and an update daemon that ran even when Google Earth didn't (is that still the case?). If Google Chrome creates any processes that run 24/7 then I won't download it, but if every Google process closes when I'm not running any Google applications, then I'd be happy to go ahead and get Chrome. Your thoughts?
