Google Chrome on Imac 27"

This is a stupid question, but all of a sudden Chrome will not allow me to use the "New Incognito Window". It is grey'd out and the shortcut does not work either. It is fine on my macbook air and I have admin rights to the iMac. Any thoughts? A google search have yielded 0 results!
