My Chrome browser decided to load slower than normal yesterday. It takes a while for it to load the 'new tab' page that displays your most visited websites, and then another minute or so to get to the site I typed in.

I un-installed Chrome and then re-downloaded it from its website to no avail. I thought it might be a faulty connection at my house, so I went to the library and got the same result. I'm not having any issues with Safari or Firefox, though.

Is anyone else having the same problem? I use a 2011 MacBook Air with OSX Lion 10.7.3.

It might be that your user profile isn't being deleted when you "uninstall" Chrome. Have you tried creating a new user profile?
