Google Chrome super slow // Safari OK

Hey,

I have some speed problems with Google Chrome on my MacBook Air so far.

Here is my situation:
For some reason specially US located home pages are very slow when I try to open them in Google Chrome. I'm located in Germany and use a MacBook Air 2012.
Sometimes they load for minutes and just quit loading.

However Safari is working perfectly fine.

Do I need to reset / change anything in Google Chrome?

EDIT:
I just realized that some other sites on Safari are very slow .. It's super weird.

Try speedtest.net. You'll be able to see if its a browser problem or a connection problem. If its your browser, I'm not exactly sure what could be causing it, but if its your connection it's your ISP's fault, and you'll have to take it out with them. Happens to me all the time

speedtest.net looks totally fine to me :/
