I'm syncing my brand new 3G iPhone with my Google contacts. It works fairly well, but there is some weirdness.

This is an example.

I searched for pizza in 'Maps'. Found a place, I added the phone number to my contacts using the iPhone interface. Very cool.

Synched contacts on my computer a bit later. Don't see this new contact in my google contacts where I expected to. But its still on my phone, and the number of contacts on the phone == the number of contacts in Google.

Turns out, the iPhone puts the name of the business under company name. No actual entry under name, so it shows up blank at the top of your Google contacts. Within Google contacts it actually will not let you create a contact with no name or just company. But the sync with the iPhone does put a contact with no name, just company name into your Google contacts.

This isn't a deal breaker by any means, but it is quite strange. Anyone else thought about this or ran into this? (sorry for the lengthy description, but I wanted to make sure I conveyed the issue properly!)
