Google Docs on iPad?

Google Docs was supposed to have tablet support... Yet I try using it and get error, weird lag, and things don't fit my screen properly. I want to use the DESKTOP/tablet version of Google Docs, not the mobile one. Does anyone else have these issues? And if so, how can I get around them?

No. I use google spreadsheets for various logs. Nothing extensive, but still, it works fine.
