Hello All,

Does anyone have the same problem? I installed Google drive some time ago but have just now re-installed google drive and the sync icon status on each file is missing. Other than that, the sync works.

Glad to get any help here. Thanks.

If you are talking about the green check marks that show the folders are synced, then you can set that in preferences under the Advanced tab.

Yes, its set but seems like a bug that the icons are not showing although the advance tab has it on. Sync works but the green checks are missing.

Funny you mention this. Yesterday I put some image up on my drive and shared them, well low and behold the share icon and check mark never appeared for that folder. Only that folder though. All other folders that were shared had the icon and check.

Did a restart on my iMac and guess what, the icon and check appeared for that folder. Must be something Google has done recently. I am still on Mavericks on this iMac and on Yosemite on my other iMac and both are showing same issue.

Hopefully this will solve your problem as well. Pain in the butt to do a restart if I want it to show.
