Google drive not working

Hi, my google drive desktop app stopped working, and I reinstalled it. But now it says I can't use it with Sierra, I need to update the OSX.

I will be doing that later this year but, for now, I need to continue using Sierra.

I've seen a workaround for this, but I can't find it.

How can I use it in Sierra? I have some files in the drive (not many, most important is an Excel file that I need to check on my phone lots of times, and it must be updated, so I could also use another solution instead of Google Drive).
