Google Earth 5 dmg not recognized, won't mount

I downloaded the Google Earth 5 dmg and clicked on it to mount it.

But I got a window with an error message saying the dmg was not recognized. It would not mount.

I deleted the GoogleEarth plugin and the GoogleEarth Plus plugin preference files but still could not mount Google Earth dmg

I'd just trash the current dmg and download again.

I'd hold off on the Google Earth 5 for the time being... it's still a bit buggy (to the point where certain dialog box buttons don't work!).

I've tried that several times. None of the downloads mount.

I have recently downloaded Google earth 5, however when I click on the icon it no longer mounts and instead disappears.
The same happens if I click on the earlier Google earth 4 version.

I'd hold off on the Google Earth 5 for the time being... it's still a bit buggy (to the point where certain dialog box buttons don't work!).

I downloaded Google Earth 5 and I've had no problems with it. Could it be the Flight Simulator you're speaking of?
