Hello,

I was just wondering if this is a known thing. I have a MBP from 2012 so not too old or too new, with good specs and upgraded maxed out RAM. I'm finding that depending on what i'm doing, Google Earth uses as much as 90-100% of CPU and when it does, the macbook heats up to around 80-90 degrees centigrade. It usually does this when i'm in street view. Is this normal behaviour? Is this safe, or do i risk damaging the machine?

Regards,

I know mine switches to the 750M when I use Google Earth, so that will increase the temp a bit. The %age varied between 14% and 137% when I tried it.
So I would conclude it is running normally.
