I own black and alummi iMac with 2.0 GHz Core 2 Duo, ATI Radeon HD 2400 and 3GB of RAM (1x2GB, 1x1GB).

When I was launch the google earth and it's keeping laggy and choppy when I use mouse to move it, I don't launch any other apps when Google Earth is in use, also I turned all on low and it don't stop choppy or laggy.

I want to be 100% smoother, Google Earth on Windows via boot camp is so smoother with no laggy, How I can fix it on Mac version?

I know it always make my MB's fan turning up speed, as I can hear.

BUT, it has never been choppy on my MB which is no better than your machine, as far as hardwares are concerned.

what version of google earth are you using? leopard or Tiger?

You running Leopard?

Google Earth has gone almost unusable for me on the same machine since I updated and there are lots of complaints out on the tubes about it.

thats what i suspected. leopard seems make alot of apps unhappy..

I'm running on Leopard, 10.5.1

Google Earth version is... 4.2.0198.2451 (beta)

I think it was driver issue on ATI Radeon 2400 HD XT, Apple need update the new driver to fix the issue, how would be often?

Issue was same as on Tiger too.
