If I just payed $65 for this program and now I cant even use it I am going to be mad as all get out. NOWHERE did it say rather it was Mac or PC based.

Higher resolution, GPS tracking, movie making, etc.
Not worth the $ for most of us casual users!:)

I am curious as well. :p

One possibility is that the op bought a windows based map/virtual-globe software from a store and mistakenly called it Google Earth. Just a guess on my part.

Wait, higher resolution? Do they actually have images with higher resolution and just don't want to give them away for free?

Here is a comparison chart of the features of both the free Google Earth and the $400 Google Earth Pro--- Features

Edit: Interesting thing is that the $400 is an annual subscription based fee! You really have to be in a business that needs those capabilities for that!
